This weeks action…..

The nights events commenced with Colin, being his ever generous self and offering up a substantial quantity, which definitely done the damage……. I think?? Did you drive home Pete??

Seven heads; Denis, Raf, Pete, Dougie, Colin, Scott and mesel of course. Continuing the trend of recent weeks we started hard and despite trying not too shine too hard, I took an early, but substantial chip lead.

Then it was the Denman who felt the splinters from his virgin spoon of the season! How’d it feel big yen? A wee bit hazy…. but think the next to fall was Colin…two good lads to be knocked out, as they have a tendency to keep things rolling till the wee hours.

The next two to fallers, were the Vulture and the Gull, both knocked out in spectacular feathery fashion, leaving a three-way between Scott (BTW have you got your application papers in the post yet?) as well as me and Raff. Scott held hard, but had to admit defeat after a valiant battle, leaving German No.1 and mesel to tousle for the glory (points & money).

Heads up wey Raff was short lived, there were a few all in’s called, however the big fella called with an Ace in the pocket and one on the board. Unfortunately I had a heart in the pocket after the flop, two more hearts were smiling at me on the felt after the flop…..the turn uncovers another heart…both of us were dying to see the river??? Out it comes (another fecking heart) and makes me a flush of hearts. Happy days as I needed the loot for the A to Z of poker skills I have ordered…boys keep your eyes down as I’m looking to scoop the loot this week as well.
